Bibbs Cherishes Fiji Visit While Developing Flag Football

World champion Nadia Bibbs is currently in Fiji, dedicating her time to fostering the growth of flag football. Bibbs, who has earned both gold and silver medals with the United States women's team, is recognized as one of the sport's elite players.

Her visit involves conducting clinics and training sessions, with a particular emphasis on engaging young participants. Bibbs finds the genuine excitement and passion displayed by the children to be the most fulfilling part of her work. Witnessing their eagerness to learn serves as a constant reminder of her commitment to expanding the sport.

"It was really fun. After we had a session with the secondary school students, a few of them came up to us and asked, you know, if we’re coming back. Just seeing how excited they were to be part of the program was a reminder of why we do what we do," Bibbs shared.

Bibbs, alongside coach Joshua Saunders, held their final coaching session in Suva on Thursday and are scheduled to return to the United States this weekend. The program aims to inspire the next generation of flag football players in Fiji.
