Bolivia launches mobile app for senior citizens' dignity day

To mark Bolivia's Day of Dignity for Older Adults on August 26, the National Service of Retirement (Senasir) has launched a new mobile application. This digital tool aims to simplify access to institutional information and services for beneficiaries, offering a fast, easy, and secure way to manage their affairs. The application allows users to track applications for contribution compensation and the retirement system in real-time. They can use their identity card number, application number, or registration number to check the status of their requests, significantly reducing wait times and the need to travel to Senasir offices. The app also provides detailed information on the requirements for contribution compensation procedures, tailored to specific companies and subsectors. Furthermore, it offers guidance for beneficiaries of the retirement system regarding the necessary steps for various types of applications. A key feature is the ability to issue Rentista, No Rentista, and Contribution Compensation documents directly through the app. Individuals needing only these documents can request them without prior registration on the virtual platform or a personal visit to a Senasir office. Senasir expects this mobile application to streamline processes, reduce physical visits, and improve overall accessibility to its services for older adults across the country.
