Bulega makes history with 14th consecutive Superbike victory in Hungary

Italian rider Nicolo Bulega has etched his name in the Superbike World Championship history books by achieving an unprecedented 14 consecutive victories. The Aruba.it Racing-Ducati star dominated the first race at Hungary's Balaton Park circuit, extending his winning streak and surpassing the previous record held by Turkish champion Toprak Razgatlioglu. This remarkable achievement solidifies Bulega's status as a formidable force in the sport.

Beyond the sheer number of wins, Bulega's consistency is further underscored by his 23rd consecutive podium finish, placing him just two shy of the all-time record shared by legends Colin Edwards and Razgatlioglu. His performance in Hungary included setting a new fastest lap record of 1:38.783, demonstrating his exceptional pace and control throughout the race. Starting from pole position, Bulega quickly established a commanding lead, leaving his competitors to battle for the remaining podium spots.

While Bulega celebrates his historic triumph, the race also saw strong performances from other riders. His teammate Iker Lecuona secured second place, marking his ninth podium of the season.
