The Italian Nicolo Bulega (Ducati) won the Superpole of the Superbike World Championship Grand Prix of Hungary, escorted by his teammate, the Spaniard Iker Lecuona, and his compatriot Lorenzo Baldasarri (Ducati).

Behind Bulega, Spanish talent Iker Lecuona put in a strong performance to secure second place on his Ducati. Lecuona, a familiar face in the championship, fought hard to keep pace with the Italian but ultimately finished a respectable distance behind. The presence of multiple Ducati riders at the front highlights the Italian manufacturer's strong showing in this event, with Lorenzo Baldasarri also featuring prominently.

The Superpole race was not without its drama. An early incident at turn six saw Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira, along with Andrea Locatelli and Sam Lowes, involved in a significant crash. Oliveira bore the brunt of the impact, sustaining a shoulder injury that forced his withdrawal from the afternoon's race, a unfortunate setback for the BMW rider. Locatelli, meanwhile, faced a penalty for his role in the incident, impacting his race progression.
