Car Collides with Truck in Rize; Six Injured, Including a Baby

A serious traffic accident on the Black Sea Coastal Road in Rize has resulted in injuries to six people, including a baby. The collision, which occurred on Thursday evening in the Bozukkale neighborhood of Gündoğdu, involved a passenger car and a truck. The car, reportedly exiting a truck park, collided with a truck that was in motion on the main road.

Emergency services, including fire brigades, police, and medical teams, were dispatched to the scene immediately. The injured were provided with first aid and subsequently transported to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Training and Research Hospital and Rize State Hospital for further treatment.

Authorities have confirmed that none of the injured are in life-threatening condition. The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, and the driver of the truck was taken to the police station for questioning.
