Cycling Tour Started in 2005, Today with Three Children in the Column

Večernji List is proud to present the upcoming 44th edition of our beloved cycling tour, a tradition that continues to bring joy and promote healthy living across Zagreb and Samobor. This year's event, scheduled for May 4th, promises the usual blend of excellent recreation, scenic routes, and a relaxed atmosphere that has made it a staple for our readers. We are particularly excited about the route, which spans approximately 20 kilometers from Zagreb's Dr. Franjo Tuđman Square to the picturesque Vugrinščak Park in Samobor. The event is more than just a bike ride; it's a celebration of community, bringing together families and individuals of all ages. We hear from participants like Leon Novoselac, who started cycling with us as a teenager and now returns annually, and Tibor Marendić, whose family tradition began in 2005 and now includes his children. Their stories highlight the enduring appeal and unifying power of this event. The addition of a performance by the popular band BluVinil at the finish line will undoubtedly add to the festive spirit.
