Elliot, who has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form, formally announced his intention to seek a renewed mandate from his constituents. In a statement shared on his Facebook page, he expressed profound respect and gratitude to the people of Surulere, framing his decision as a continuation of his dedicated service to the area.
