Σύμφωνα με την Ελληνική Αστυνομία, ο κρατούμενος παρουσίασε λίγο πριν το μεσημέρι (περί τις 11:50) σπασμωδικό επεισόδιο, το οποίο έγινε αντιληπτό από αστυνομικούς.

The detainee, identified as a foreign national arrested on drug charges on April 25th, reportedly experienced a spasmodic episode around 11:50 AM. Responding officers called for an ambulance, and medical personnel who arrived assessed the situation. Initial medical evaluations suggested the episode might be related to withdrawal symptoms, and a psychiatrist was informed to evaluate the detainee's condition.

However, several hours later, the detainee was found unresponsive. A second ambulance was called, and tragically, the medical team pronounced the detainee deceased at approximately 5:00 PM.
