The explosion, which occurred on October 17, 2025, destroyed two levels of the building and claimed the lives of three people, with several others injured. Prosecutors investigating the incident announced in May that four individuals and three legal entities are under investigation. The case has seen 176 claims for damages, and authorities have seized assets exceeding 53 million euros and 10 million lei.
