Ebonyi Governor Nwifuru Denies Rift with Works Minister Umahi

Speculation surrounding a supposed rift between Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru and Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has been firmly dismissed by the governor. In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, Governor Nwifuru characterized these claims as mere conjecture, originating from individuals intent on disrupting party harmony.

The governor emphasized that he and Minister Umahi, his predecessor, are united in their commitment to the progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State. He clarified that the recent consensus arrangement for political offices, which had reportedly left some of Umahi’s preferred aspirants out, is being managed with fairness. Nwifuru assured that any lingering concerns would be addressed amicably, ensuring all aspirants receive equitable treatment in line with stakeholder agreements.
