Santaní vibrated with excitement as the Petrobras Rally of San Pedro, a key event in the National Rally Championship (CNR), kicked off with a spectacular and emotional start ceremony. The event, now in its third round of the 2026 calendar, drew a significant crowd of passionate fans who braved the chilly evening air to witness the spectacle.

The traditional symbolic start ramp in Santaní was transformed into a festive arena, complete with artistic performances and a dazzling fireworks display. This year's rally promises thrilling competition with 49 crews vying for supremacy. The leaders in the all-wheel-drive category, Tiago Weiler and Juan José Sánchez, will open the route in their Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, setting the pace for what is expected to be a fast-paced and challenging event. In the F2 category, Nicolás Baeza and Luis Cabo de Vila, piloting a Honda Civic Type R EP3, will also be eager to prove their mettle.
