Family Trio Parmachy Releases Debut Single, Announces Zagreb Concert

From the vibrant musical heart of Ploče, a town known for its deep-rooted love affair with music, emerges the family trio Parmachy, comprised of siblings Neda, Sanja, and Tomislav Parmać. In Ploče, music has always been more than a hobby; it's simply a part of life. We grew up surrounded by rockers and true music lovers, people who truly lived what they listened to. We often joke that everyone sings in Ploče... but honestly, there's a lot of truth to that.

Neda and Sanja, already known for their work in the Gelato Sisters and Neda's previous stint with Feminnem, bring their seasoned performance experience to Parmachy. Tomislav, a respected accompanist at the Komedija Theatre, adds a different yet complementary dimension to the group. Their upbringing in Ploče, a town where music is not merely a hobby but an intrinsic part of life, has profoundly shaped their artistic identities. Both dad and mom are musicians. Dad was a singer in mom's band in the seventies... but dad continued the music business. He taught me, the eldest and obedient enough, everything he knew, the first guitar chords, harmonic progressions, how to catch a third, how to find any other missing voice, and he monetized it as soon as I grew up and it continued with Neda.

The decision to form Parmachy was a spontaneous one, born from the joy of making music together during family gatherings. The overwhelming positive response to their impromptu performances and shared recordings online encouraged them to pursue this venture more seriously. This organic growth, fueled by genuine connection and audience appreciation, has led to their current success, including invitations to perform at various events. Music was always echoing through our home, and we grew up with dad's guitar and the songs he prepared for gigs. Since we attended music school, and Sanja and Tomislav later graduated in music, classical music was also constantly present in our upbringing. Mariah Carey and Celine Dion were our musical role models, so their music most marked my childhood.
