Firefighters Battle Blaze in Ances Nature Reserve for Second Day

The Ances bogs and forests nature reserve is currently engulfed in a significant forest fire, with emergency services working tirelessly for the second consecutive day to bring it under control. The State Forest Service confirmed that the blaze has consumed 6.51 hectares of this valuable natural area. While the State Forest Service and the State Fire and Rescue Service were involved yesterday, today the State Forest Service alone is leading the suppression efforts.
