Five vehicles collide on Bursa-Balıkesir highway, one injured

A multi-vehicle accident involving five cars occurred on the Bursa-Balıkesir highway near the Gölkıyı area. The collision happened around 6 p.m. as vehicles were traveling towards Bursa from Balıkesir. The incident began when a vehicle driven by Yunus Emre T. (license plate 16 ACJ 477) rear-ended a car driven by Muhammed Jouhar A.E. (license plate 16 AKZ 887) which was slowing down. Subsequently, three other vehicles, including one driven by Harun Y. (license plate 16 BYJ 782), another driven by Kadir Efe K. (license plate 16 HBJ 64), and a truck with license plate 03 F 1183, became involved in the chain-reaction crash.

As a result of the accident, one person, identified as Abdullah Eymen G., sustained injuries. The injured individual was transported to Karacabey State Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. The highway experienced traffic disruptions following the incident.
