FNNTE launches free bus services for flood rescue and relief

Nepal’s transport operators have put buses at the disposal of communities hit by flash floods in the Rasuwa and Trishuli river systems.

The Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs launched free services for two purposes: rescuing people affected by the floods and carrying relief materials to them.

The assistance is aimed primarily at residents of Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading. People seeking vehicles for rescue work or relief transport were asked to contact Suwan Giri, Shree Shrestha, Dil Bahadur Shrestha or Nar Bahadur Rana.
