Former Footballer Plans Lavish Villa on Nesøya

Former Norwegian national football player Stefan Strandberg is set to construct his dream home on the prestigious Nesøya island in Asker. Having acquired a prime 5.6-acre waterfront property at Hestesund for 50 million kroner, Strandberg's ambitions are substantial, as reported by Budstikka.

The envisioned residence is a sprawling approximately 700-square-meter villa spread across three floors. A notable feature will be an internal car elevator leading to the basement, which will offer ample space for multiple vehicles. Beyond his personal residence, Strandberg also plans to subdivide the rear portion of the property into three separate plots, intending to build three additional single-family homes.

However, the ambitious plans have not been without their challenges. Several neighbors have raised objections, primarily concerning the proposed height of the main villa and the additional houses. They argue that the structures, particularly their height, will significantly detract from the scenic views, both from the sea and from adjacent properties, according to local media reports.
