Former head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, has been detained by the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) in Jakarta. Hindayana was observed exiting the Kejagung building on Wednesday afternoon, clad in a pink detainee vest with his hands cuffed, following an interrogation that began earlier that day.

Simultaneously, investigators from Kejagung conducted a search at the BGN office, located on Jalan Kebon Sirih in Central Jakarta. The search was reportedly ongoing into Wednesday afternoon. Eyewitnesses reported seeing approximately nine investigators, identified by their Jampidsus (Directorate General of Special Crimes) uniforms, entering the BGN office premises. They were followed by an additional five investigators. These teams did not provide detailed statements to the media present outside the office, which was secured by security personnel.
