Former Propaganda Official TS Vũ Ngọc Hoàng Passes Away at 74

Vietnam mourns the passing of TS Vũ Ngọc Hoàng, a distinguished former official who served with dedication in key Party and state roles. His death at the age of 74 marks the end of a significant career dedicated to the fields of propaganda and education, areas crucial to the nation's development and ideological guidance.

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Hoàng held important positions, including Secretary of the Quảng Nam Provincial Party Committee and later as the Standing Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department. His academic background, holding a doctorate, lent intellectual weight to his policy contributions. His influence extended beyond his official duties, as evidenced by his authorship of the political-social essay collection "Con đường phía trước" (The Road Ahead).

Mr. Hoàng's service was recognized with numerous high honors from the Party and the State, including multiple Party membership badges and prestigious state awards like the Second-class Independence Medal and Second and Third-class Labor Medals.
