The fifth season of "Top Chef VIP" is set to premiere on August 11, coinciding with Mauro's birthday. Mujica expressed her heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the show's promotional campaign. Her son, Mauro Menéndez, passed away on July 16 from pneumonia. His remains were cremated, and his ashes will later be brought to Miami for a family tribute. Mujica has been focusing on her children and leaning on loved ones as she navigates her grief.
