Hamza Abdelkarim steals the show with a brace in Barcelona’s draw with Birmingham

Egyptian striker Hamza Abdelkarim was the standout performer in a friendly match between Barcelona and Birmingham City, scoring both goals for his team in a 2-2 draw. The encounter took place at St. Andrew's Stadium in England as both clubs fine-tune their strategies for the 2026-2027 season.

However, Barcelona found their equalizer just before halftime. Abdelkarim continued his impressive performance in the second half, netting his second goal in the 60th minute to give Barcelona a 2-1 lead. His goal came from a rebound after a powerful shot from outside the box was parried by the Birmingham goalkeeper.
