Harley-Davidson Unveils Rare Liberty Editions at GIIAS 2026

Harley-Davidson enthusiasts in Indonesia can now experience the brand's iconic "Liberty Edition" models, with PT JLM Auto Indonesia introducing the Street Glide Liberty Edition and Heritage Classic Liberty Edition at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.

These exclusive motorcycles are part of the global Enthusiast Collection, a limited production run commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The "Liberty Edition" aims to revive the themes of Liberty and Bicentennial, concepts previously explored by Harley-Davidson, symbolizing the freedom of riding that defines the American brand.

Operations Director of PT JLM Auto Indonesia, Irvino Edwardly, stated that the Liberty Edition merges Harley-Davidson's heritage design with current technology and performance. "Harley-Davidson is always more than just a motorcycle; it is a symbol of freedom and lifestyle," Edwardly said. "Through the Liberty Edition, we bring a blend of Harley-Davidson's iconic design heritage and modern performance to fans in Indonesia."

Both the Street Glide Liberty Edition and Heritage Classic Liberty Edition feature an exclusive "Midnight Ember" colorway and unique graphics, including an eagle on the fuel tank, a #1 emblem, a blue-accented windshield, and a red, white, and blue seat with a Bar & Shield logo embroidery. The Street Glide Liberty Edition is equipped with a liquid-cooled Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, a 12.3-inch Skyline OS touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, turn-by-turn navigation, and rider safety enhancements. The Heritage Classic Liberty Edition boasts an air-cooled Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic engine and a classic cruiser aesthetic, complete with a removable two-tone windshield and lockable saddlebags.

Indonesia's allocation for these Liberty Edition models is extremely limited, with only about six units available globally out of a total production of approximately 2,500. This scarcity underscores their status as highly exclusive collector's items.
