Hungarian MEP Slams Mercosur Deal, Citing Farmer Concerns

The protests by French farmers, holding banners that clearly state "Stop the EU-MERCOSUR Agreement!", are not isolated incidents. They reflect a widespread anxiety among those who understand the real-world consequences of such agreements. While EU officials may focus on the potential economic benefits, they seem to overlook the significant risks posed to European producers who face intense competition from countries with different standards and subsidies.
