Indonesia Wins Three Titles at the 2026 Polytron Pontianak International Challenge

Indonesia took three titles at the Polytron Pontianak International Challenge 2026, winning the men’s doubles, men’s singles and mixed doubles competitions at the BWF Super 100 tournament.

Wahyu Agung Prasetyo and Pulung Ramadhan defeated fellow Indonesians Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan and Patra Harapan Rindorindo 22-20, 21-15 in the men’s doubles final in Pontianak. The seventh seeds were playing their first tournament as a pair.

Dejan Ferdinansyah and Apriyani Rahayu won the mixed doubles title after a demanding final against Chinese Taipei’s Sheng-Ming Lin and Liang Ching Sun. They lost the first game but prevailed 19-21, 27-25, 21-19.

Dejan said the victory could help the new partnership build confidence. “Thankfully, we are very happy and grateful to win the title here. This can be a foundation for us to start, build trust and build confidence in each other,” he said. India won the women’s singles title, while South Korea took the women’s doubles crown.
