Indramayu Residents Complain of Difficulty Obtaining 3-Kilogram LPG Gas, Visiting Ten Shops

Residents across various parts of Indramayu Regency in Indonesia are facing considerable difficulty in obtaining the 3-kilogram subsidized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders, commonly known as 'gas melon'. The scarcity has led to widespread frustration among households that depend on this fuel for daily cooking and other needs.

Reports indicate that the situation has become so acute that individuals are compelled to travel extensively, visiting numerous small shops and kiosks in their search for the elusive gas. Some residents have stated they had to visit as many as ten different locations before successfully finding a cylinder, highlighting the severity of the shortage.

This difficulty in accessing affordable cooking gas is causing significant disruption to daily life for many families in the region. The inconvenience and time spent searching for the subsidized cylinders add a considerable burden, particularly for those with limited resources.
