Iran Blames US for Failed Pakistan Talks

The United States' maximalist approach and unreasonable demands ultimately derailed what could have been a crucial step forward. Despite clear signs of progress, Washington's insistence on unrealistic concessions made reaching a mutual agreement impossible.

This failure is not ours. We came to the table in good faith, seeking constructive dialogue on critical issues like the nuclear program and regional security. Our willingness to engage was evident in the messages we conveyed through Pakistan, addressing the Strait of Hormuz and proposing a phased approach to nuclear discussions. Yet, these efforts were met with intransigence.
