Iran claims military arsenal rebuilt, combat capabilities enhanced

Iran's army declared on Wednesday that it has fully restored its military hardware damaged during a recent conflict and bolstered its arsenal with new equipment, some domestically produced and some imported. The conflict, which began in late February following U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on Iran and subsequent Iranian retaliation, saw an April ceasefire end nearly 40 days of intense bombing. However, sporadic attacks, particularly in the Strait of Hormuz, have continued to disrupt prospects for a lasting peace agreement.

He characterized Washington's statements as a "propaganda strategy" and warned that U.S. de-mining vessels would be vulnerable targets if they entered the strait.
