Is Summer Returning? Kazakhstan Temperatures to Reach 37°C

Summer-like warmth is expected to return to much of Kazakhstan, with temperatures reaching as high as 37°C in the south over the next three days.

Kazhydromet forecasts mostly dry and partly cloudy conditions as high atmospheric pressure settles over most of the country. From September 3 to 5, daytime temperatures in southern Kazakhstan will range from 28°C to 37°C.

The west, north and center are expected to reach 25°C to 33°C. Temperatures will be lower in the east, at 20°C to 25°C, while southeastern areas will see 20°C to 30°C. Mountainous and foothill areas will remain cooler, with temperatures between 10°C and 20°C.

Most regions are not expected to receive significant precipitation. Atmospheric fronts could bring brief rain to parts of the west, south and southeast, sometimes with thunderstorms and stronger winds. Nights will be cooler in some areas, offering an early reminder that autumn has begun.
