Itá Hosts Successful Sports Tricking Competition for Charity

Itá, Paraguay – The town of Itá buzzed with activity as the Victoria event hall hosted a vibrant sports tricking competition this past Sunday, April 29th. The tournament saw an impressive turnout, with more than 40 teams vying for top honors from morning until late afternoon. Beyond the spirited competition, the event fostered a strong sense of community and generosity. A delicious lunch was served to participants and attendees, accompanied by lively music from local group Los Fantásticos del Caribe. Lucio Benítez, representing the organizers, expressed his gratitude to participants from across the region, including Asunción, Itá, Paraguarí, Carapeguá, and Villa Elisa, as well as various neighborhoods. The true spirit of the event, however, lay in its charitable purpose: all funds raised will be donated to a local house of beneficence supporting single mothers in Itá. The competition concluded with the team from Pinozá taking home the championship title, followed by SLTC Los Amigos as the runner-up, and two teams from Pinozá Truco Club securing third and fourth places. This event highlights the community's engagement and its commitment to supporting vulnerable members through enjoyable, shared activities.
