J&T Express is demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles by actively integrating its global strategy into its Vietnamese operations. The company's approach prioritizes optimizing logistics operations while simultaneously reducing its environmental footprint, showcasing a dual focus on efficiency and sustainability.

Globally, J&T Express has made significant investments in logistics infrastructure, including the development of 14 core self-built centers totaling 1.05 million square meters. The deployment of over 150,000 high-efficiency roller equipment and more than 400 energy-saving conveyor belts underscores their dedication to not only increasing processing capacity but also minimizing energy consumption across all operational stages. Furthermore, the use of over 1,000 autonomous vehicles for last-mile delivery highlights their effort to combine technological advancements with route optimization, thereby reducing redundant resources.

In Vietnam, these global directives are being adapted to local conditions. The optimization of over 200 transport routes nationwide exemplifies how ESG is translated into concrete actions. By reducing travel time, J&T Express Vietnam effectively cuts down on fuel consumption and enhances delivery efficiency. This is further supported by digitalization tools, including AI-powered systems for vehicle dispatch, document management, and refueling verification, which bring greater transparency and real-time control to operations.

The company is also actively upgrading its fleet, with plans to introduce over 1,200 vehicles meeting Euro 5 emission standards by 2025, while phasing out older models. Complementing these efforts, the widespread use of approximately 880,000 reusable 'eco-bags' in Vietnam, which have seen over 50 million turnovers, signifies a tangible shift towards sustainable logistics materials.
