Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou is taking legal action against the spread of rumors alleging he has an illegitimate child. The allegations, which surfaced from a Chinese paparazzi known as "China's No. 1 paparazzi," have been strongly denied by Chou's agency, JVR Music.

JVR Music issued a statement confirming their intention to gather evidence and pursue legal recourse against those disseminating the false information. The agency emphasized that the claims are untrue and harmful to the singer's reputation and family life.

Liu Ruoxue, the woman reportedly linked to the rumors, has also responded through her lawyer. Her legal team released a statement denying any extramarital relationship or illegitimate child with Jay Chou. They have demanded that internet users immediately cease and desist from sharing or reposting any content that falsely portrays Liu Ruoxue, including articles, videos, images, and comments.

The statement further indicated that they are collecting evidence of infringement and will pursue legal responsibility for malicious fabrication and dissemination of such false information, including potential defamation charges. The legal action aims to protect Liu Ruoxue's reputation and prevent further harm caused by these baseless allegations.
