Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has strongly denounced the recent actions of some youths during the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's, visit to the state. The governor described the display of undergarments as a deeply disgraceful act that stands in stark contrast to the values and rich cultural heritage of Kano State.

Governor Yusuf, speaking at a special prayer event for peace, emphasized that such behavior is not only contrary to the state's traditions but also goes against the teachings of Islam, which promote modesty, discipline, and respect for leaders. He asserted that the incident was a disturbing departure from his administration's 'Kano First Agenda,' which prioritizes development and moral uprightness.
