Korea Teachers Pension Partners with Forest Institute for Regional Cooperation and ESG Initiatives

The Korea Teachers Pension (KTP) and the Jeollanam-do Forest Research Institute have joined forces through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at fostering regional synergy and enhancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. This collaboration highlights KTP's commitment to leveraging its social contribution capabilities by engaging its stakeholders, including teachers and vulnerable populations, in meaningful environmental activities.

Central to this partnership is the shared utilization of the Forest Research Institute's rich forest resources and specialized programs. KTP plans to offer forest healing and experience programs, alongside environmental protection activities like forest trail cleanups. These initiatives are designed to create a sustainable cooperative framework that benefits not only KTP's members but also the broader community, particularly vulnerable groups and students in the region.
