Kyrgyzstan's PM Demands Swift Action on Southern Mudslides

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev has directed urgent action following devastating mudslides that struck the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions of Kyrgyzstan. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers convened an operational meeting to address the crisis, receiving detailed reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other relevant agencies.

The focus is on immediate relief and restoration efforts. Units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Defense, alongside local authorities and specialized equipment, are engaged in intensive work to clear mudslide deposits and repair damaged roads and infrastructure.
