Man Kills Two Siblings, Daughter in Ondo

The Ondo State Police Command has launched an investigation into a horrifying incident that has shaken the community of Okitipupa. A 28-year-old man, identified as Femi Agbeye, is alleged to have brutally murdered his two sisters and his own five-year-old daughter within the family home. The attack reportedly took place on April 8, casting a dark shadow over the Government Reserved Area.

Sources close to the family, including the suspect's father, Ade Agbeye, have painted a grim picture of the events leading up to the tragedy. He claims his son has a history of substance abuse and had previously made violent threats against family members, including his mother and himself. This alleged pattern of behavior suggests a deeply troubled individual whose actions, however horrific, may have been foreshadowed.

When we entered the house, we saw the bodies of the children on the floor in their mother’s room. I immediately went to the police to inform them about the incident.

The father also revealed that the suspect had been arrested previously but was released against his wishes, a decision he now deeply regrets given the fatal outcome. This detail raises questions about the effectiveness of previous interventions and the circumstances surrounding his release. Residents also reported seeing the suspect forcing his way into the apartment before the attack, adding to the disturbing narrative.
