Manavgat Municipal Police Officer Missing for Six Days

The disappearance of Ali Savaş, a dedicated member of the Manavgat Municipality's municipal police force, has cast a shadow over the community. For six days, his whereabouts have remained unknown since he left his home on the night of April 14. The search for Savaş has become a priority for local authorities, with security forces focusing their efforts on the Manavgat River area, where his phone last transmitted a signal.

Both land and water searches have been conducted with the support of drones and divers. The Manavgat District Gendarmerie Command and the Manavgat District Police Department's Public Order Branch have deployed teams to scour the riverbanks and the water itself. Divers from the Deniz Polisi (Sea Police) have meticulously searched the river from the Aşıklar Fountain area down to the Şavlak region.

Despite these comprehensive efforts, which have been closely followed by Savaş's family, no clues have emerged. The search operations are set to resume on the morning of the seventh day, with the community holding onto hope for his safe return. This ongoing search highlights the deep concern and solidarity within Manavgat for one of its own.
