Mercedes-Benz launches two new luxury models in Indonesia

Mercedes-Benz is expanding its Indonesian portfolio with the introduction of two new vehicles: the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ and the new GLC 200 4MATIC. Donald Rachmat, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, stated that these additions represent distinct interpretations of the brand's core DNA: engineering excellence, innovation, and luxury. The AMG GT 63 PRO is presented as a sports car that does not compromise on daily usability. Notably, it serves as the official safety car for Formula 1. This model features a powerful AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, delivering 612 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 317 km/h. Its aerodynamic enhancements and advanced features, including AMG Performance Seats and a widescreen cockpit, contribute to a luxurious driving experience. Priced at Rp 9.8 billion on the road in Jakarta, it targets a premium segment. Complementing this is the GLC 200 4MATIC, a luxury SUV designed for everyday needs. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mild-hybrid engine producing 204 horsepower, with an additional 22 horsepower from the mild-hybrid system. Paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, it promises a smooth and responsive drive. Features like DIGITAL LIGHT, a Burmester 3D Surround Sound System, and a panoramic sunroof enhance its premium appeal. This model is available for Rp 1.58 billion on the road in Jakarta. Both vehicles were showcased at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.
