Ministry of Interior seeks 23-year-old wanted for homicide in San Carlos

Uruguay's Ministry of the Interior is appealing to the public for help in finding Maximiliano Andrés Acosta Bermúdez, a 23-year-old man wanted in connection with a homicide. The incident occurred on July 25 in San Carlos, Maldonado.

Acosta Bermúdez is described as having a slim build and distinctive tattoos on his right cheekbone and both hands. The ministry has provided several channels for citizens to report any information, including calling 911, making anonymous tips to 0800 5000, visiting the ministry's website (minterior.gub.uy), or reporting directly to the nearest police station.

The victim of the homicide was a 39-year-old man with a criminal record who was found shot in the back near a container in the Costanera area of San Carlos. The Ministry of the Interior emphasizes the importance of public cooperation in apprehending the suspect and bringing the case to justice.
