Mitsubishi Xforce Sees Steep Discounts at Vietnamese Dealerships

HANOI – In a bid to stimulate sales amidst a competitive automotive market, Mitsubishi dealerships, particularly in the central region and Hanoi, are rolling out significant price reductions for the Mitsubishi Xforce GLX. This standard variant is seeing discounts reaching up to 70 million VND, effectively lowering its transaction price to approximately 529 million VND in some locations, with others offering slightly less at 539 million VND. It's important to note that the availability of these substantial dealer-led incentives is limited.

This aggressive dealer discounting positions the Xforce GLX's actual price point competitively against higher trims of A-segment SUVs like the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue. While these dealer promotions are substantial, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam is also running its own official campaign for May, offering fuel vouchers valued between 30 and 35 million VND, depending on the specific variant purchased. This dual approach—dealer incentives and manufacturer promotions—aims to attract a wider range of buyers.

Beyond direct price reductions, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam is actively enhancing its brand presence through lifestyle and sports engagement. The company recently participated in outdoor activities, including off-road running events like the City Trail series in Nha Trang. This strategy aims to connect with consumers outside the traditional showroom environment, aligning the brand with active lifestyles and reinforcing its image in the minds of potential customers.

The Mitsubishi Xforce GLX itself is equipped with a suite of modern features. It boasts full LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels (compared to 18-inch on higher trims), and a robust 219mm ground clearance. Inside, the cabin features an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, traditional analog gauges with a central multi-information display, push-button start, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold function. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5L MIVEC engine delivering 105 PS and 141 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Notably, it includes the Active Yaw Control (AYC) technology for enhanced cornering stability, alongside essential safety features like ABS, EBD, BA, a reverse camera, and four airbags.
