Motorcycle Found at Scene of Unusual Death in South Jakarta

An investigation is underway into the unusual death of Sutrimo, a man from Banyumas, Central Java, who passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, in South Jakarta. His body was discovered in front of the Mordent Beauty Clinic in Kebayoran Baru. The clinic itself appeared empty and neglected when observed on Sunday, July 26, though its exterior lights were still on during the day.

A motorcycle with license plate A 4412 MA was found parked in the clinic's yard, but it was removed by investigators later that evening. Police reported that Sutrimo was seen entering the clinic's yard with the motorcycle the night before he was found. The following morning, around 7:30 AM, he complained of feeling unwell to a colleague and requested to be taken to a hospital.

His colleague took him to the Mordent Beauty Clinic. While at the clinic, Sutrimo reportedly vomited and exhibited foamy discharge from his mouth. His colleague immediately called for an ambulance. However, by the time emergency services arrived, Sutrimo had already died. The Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner General Budi Hermanto, stated that the chronology of the death is still being investigated and no conclusions can be drawn yet.

Police are gathering statements from Sutrimo's family, the ambulance driver, hospital staff, and other potential witnesses. They are also examining medical records, ambulance booking details, and information related to where Sutrimo was initially found. Police have urged the public to refrain from speculation and spreading unverified information, promising to release updates once facts are established. Unconfirmed reports suggest Sutrimo may have been the head of household for Febrie Adriansyah, a former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes.
