Navua backs rival Rewa ahead of OFC campaign

Navua Football Club is setting aside its traditional rivalry with Rewa to fully support the Delta Tigers as they embark on their OFC Men's Champions League 2026 campaign. Navua president Rajeev Prasad extended his best wishes to Rewa for their opening game, highlighting the importance of district unity for Fiji's representation on the regional stage.

Go out there, make Fiji proud and bring the pride and fighting spirit of Fiji to the OFC Champions League," Prasad stated. He urged Navua supporters and the wider football community to rally behind Rewa as they aim for a strong start in the competition.

Rewa will compete in Group B, beginning their campaign against Vanuatu's Galaxy FC this afternoon at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Their subsequent matches include a game against Tupapa Maraerenga FC of the Cook Islands on Wednesday and a final group stage match against Lae City FC of Papua New Guinea on Saturday.
