Following the mother's immediate report to the 57th Police Station of Cañadita, authorities launched an investigation. Leveraging security camera footage from a private residence and crucial information from neighbors, police were able to track down the suspect. Although the camera footage did not clearly depict the alleged act, the combined evidence allowed officers to locate the man, identified as Andrés Patiño, at a construction site just a few blocks away. He was apprehended while working as a bricklayer, and his motorcycle, which matched the description, was also seized.
