'New identity' for pilgrim tents in Mina

The holy site of Mina is set to witness a significant transformation this Hajj season with the unveiling of the "New Identity" project for pilgrim tents. This initiative, spanning over 24,000 square meters across two key locations, represents a leap forward in providing pilgrims with a more organized, comfortable, and well-equipped residential environment.

Designed to meet the highest standards, the new tents incorporate advanced solutions for ventilation and shading, ensuring a more pleasant stay for the guests of Allah. The project also includes integrated facilities such as dining halls and open areas, alongside sophisticated administrative and service equipment aimed at optimizing operational efficiency. This comprehensive approach underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing the Hajj experience through continuous infrastructure development and service improvement.

Complementing the new tent designs, extensive upgrades have been made to the fire and cooling network systems within Mina's tent squares. This critical work involved the renovation of 188 residential squares, encompassing 565 tents, with a substantial length of network pipes. These enhancements are vital for ensuring the safety and well-being of pilgrims, particularly during peak periods, and demonstrate the meticulous planning and execution involved in preparing the holy sites for millions of worshippers.
