Next '5 de Oro' lottery draw set for August 16 with $55 million in jackpots

Uruguay's popular "5 de Oro" lottery is set for its next draw on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 10:00 PM. The draw will be broadcast live on El País's Facebook page, Canal 12, and La Banca's YouTube channel.

This upcoming draw features substantial jackpots. The "Pozo de Oro" (Gold Pot) currently holds an estimated $33.6 million, while the "Revancha" (Revenge) draw offers an additional $21.4 million. Combined, the lottery is expected to distribute approximately $55 million to lucky winners, according to the National Directorate of Lotteries and Casinos.

The previous draw on Wednesday saw no winners for either the "Pozo de Oro" or "Revancha," with the winning numbers for the "Pozo de Oro" being 7, 19, 23, 38, 39 and the extra ball 40, and for the "Revancha" being 31, 32, 36, 42, 43.

To participate, players must choose five numbers from 1 to 48. A $50 bet covers the "5 de Oro" draw, while an additional $20 allows participation in the "Revancha" draw with the same numbers. Bets can be placed at authorized Quiniela agencies and sub-agencies nationwide until 8:00 PM on the day of the draw. Phone betting is available via 0905 0012 for $77 (including service fees and VAT), covering both draws. Online participation is also possible through La Banca's website or mobile app until 9:00 PM on the draw date.
