Northern Youths Condemn Sealing of ACF Headquarters

The Joint Action Committee of Northern Youth Associations (JACON) has labeled the action as "unconstitutional and unacceptable," asserting that it constitutes a violation of fundamental rights and due process. This strong stance reflects a growing concern among youth leaders in the region regarding the arbitrary use of power and the potential erosion of civic freedoms.

JACON, in a statement issued on Thursday, articulated its solidarity with the ACF, a prominent socio-cultural organization representing the interests of Northern Nigeria. The group views the sealing of the ACF's office, carried out without lawful procedure, as a deliberate act of intimidation and an abuse of power by the Nigeria Police Force.
