Nigeria's gas infrastructure has taken a significant leap forward with the successful completion of the River Niger crossing on the Obiafu–Obrikom–Oben (OB3) gas pipeline. Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, lauded NNPC Limited for this "pivotal advancement," emphasizing its technical complexity and the advanced horizontal directional drilling technology employed.
