Ogun State Group Donates N1 Billion, Buses for Tinubu, Adeola, Abiodun 2027 Campaigns

In a significant show of political solidarity and financial backing, the Yayi Support Movement (YPM) in Ogun State has pledged a substantial N1 billion and 27 campaign buses to bolster the 2027 electoral ambitions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and key All Progressives Congress (APC) figures in the state.

The elaborate event, held at the Ake Palace Pavilion in Abeokuta, marked the inauguration of YPM executives and the official unveiling of the campaign vehicles. The movement, which boasts a presence across all 26 state constituencies, demonstrated its commitment to ensuring the APC's success in the upcoming elections.

Abiodun had done well in the state, and the good work must continue with Yayi, who had been doing well even before his emergence as the consensus candidate.

Armstrong Tope Akintunde, the Convener of YPM, lauded Governor Dapo Abiodun for his leadership and expressed confidence in the party's candidates, particularly Senator Olamilekan Adeola. The group's substantial donation underscores the fervent support within Ogun State for the APC's agenda and its leaders, signaling a strong push for continuity and electoral victory in 2027.
