The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2026 Osun State governorship election, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, has unequivocally assured the people of the state that the upcoming polls will be free from violence and bloodshed. Speaking at a 'Victory Prayer' event in his hometown, Ikire, Oyebamiji pledged to ensure adequate security for a fair and transparent electoral process, aiming to prevent any form of harassment or intimidation of voters.

He specifically addressed civil servants, promising timely payment of benefits, training, and other entitlements, drawing on his experience as former managing director of Osun State Investment Company Limited (OSICOL), where he reportedly increased worker salaries multiple times and initiated ventures into oil and gas and housing.
