Oriental Region Records "Increase in School Enrollment"

The Oriental region of Morocco is demonstrating significant progress in its educational sector, as highlighted by the Regional Academy of Education and Training's recent forum. The roadmap for 2022-2026 has yielded tangible results, showcasing a commitment to enhancing public schooling.

The data presented reveals a substantial expansion of educational offerings, with 75 new schools and 736 additional classrooms created. This has directly contributed to a notable decrease in class overcrowding, particularly in middle and high school levels. Furthermore, the push to universalize pre-school education is gaining momentum, with enrollment rates climbing steadily.

Beyond infrastructure, the region is also focusing on accessibility and support. The addition of 180 new school buses has benefited nearly 50,000 students, and new boarding facilities have been established. The reduction in the number of students at risk of dropping out is a crucial indicator of the success of these social support measures.
