Osh to host major boxing event with WBC and WBA Asia titles at stake

Osh, Kyrgyzstan, is set to host the TURKSEN 3 international professional boxing tournament, a major sporting event coinciding with the city's anniversary celebrations. The tournament is expected to draw top boxers from 10 different countries.

The highlight of the evening will be championship bouts for the prestigious WBC Greater Turan and WBA Asia belts. Shailoobek Atazov, president of the Kyrgyzstan’s Professional Boxing League, announced the event following discussions with Osh Mayor Zhanarbek Akayev. The Osh City Hall has confirmed the plans.

Atazov noted that this is the first time fights for both the WBC Greater Turan and WBA Asia belts will occur within a single tournament in Kyrgyzstan. The event will feature international judges and attract notable figures from the global boxing community as guests.
