Pahang: The Mainstay of Felda Development

Pahang is set to host the national Felda Settlers' Day celebration, a momentous occasion marking the 70th anniversary of the Federal Land Development Authority. The selection of Bandar Tun Abdul Razak Jengka, home to 115 Felda schemes – the largest in Malaysia – underscores Pahang's pivotal position as the primary engine of Felda's development since its inception.

State Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail emphasized the state government's unwavering commitment to safeguarding the interests of Felda settlers. This includes diligently working towards resolving land ownership issues, a critical step in ensuring the enduring legacy of these land schemes for second, third, and subsequent generations. A special meeting on May 21st is dedicated to addressing the Felda People's Land Scheme (STR) issue, with hopes for its finalization for the benefit of the people.

This economic vitality, coupled with political stability, makes Pahang an increasingly attractive hub for investment, particularly as a key economic corridor on the East Coast. The announcement of RM20,000 in aid for Felda youth programs further signals the state's dedication to its citizens, especially the younger generation within the Felda community, promising more support if political stability is maintained.
